MEET YOUR PERSONAL TRAINER

Chris Novick

I have been in Health and Fitness for the past 15+ years and have worked with everyone from children to the elderly, novice to college athletes and everyone in between….

I have achieved multiple certifications including Master Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Exercise Therapy Specialist, Glute Specialist and Bodybuilding Specialist. My passion is helping people lead a healthier and more active lifestyle through education and understanding how your body works in order to help you unlock its full potential.

I’ve been involved in sports since I was young, playing baseball and basketball as a kid and eventually getting into martial arts in high school. That is when I really started to focus on ways to improve strength and overall physique. My first job was at a health club which exposed me to many different forms of training. Whether is was bodybuilding, marathon training, rehabilitation or body maintenance. I became intrigued by how I could craft and mold my body into whatever image I had if I was willing to put the work in.

This drove me to become a Personal Trainer and acquire different certifications within the fitness field to help me better serve my clients. Fitness is all about education and that is what I provide for my clients. What works, what doesn’t, whats marketing, whats hype and whats real. That is a constant minefield to navigate as everyday seems to unveil some new tool, pill or exercise that will “change EVERYTHING”. In reality, I’ve found that most of the diets and trends all boil back down to the basics of nutrition and exercise. I have found that most people just feel lost when it comes to exercise (what body parts should I work? What exercises should I do? How many sets and reps?) and nutrition (What are calories? What is a macro? Do I care? Can I please just eat cake?!) The more I can educate my clients and help them understand the answers to those questions, the more empowered my clients feel and are able to achieve their goals. My personal goal is to have all of my clientele feel confident in the tools that I can provide them with to tackle their goals when I’m not there.

“The only limits you have, are the ones you place on yourself.”

Certified Personal Trainer- The fundamentals build the foundation from which everything else grows from. I have been training for over 10 years and have worked with every kind of client from children to the elderly, beginner to athlete, casual to competition, healthy to disabled. All goals are different but with proper guidance and education, we can achieve them together.

Certified Sports Nutrition Specialist- What is exercise without proper nutrition? Well its only half of the equation. I am able to work with my clients to develop proper meal plans that work for their specific needs. No one can (or should) try to change their entire way of eating overnight. Gradual progression into a healthier lifestyle is the ideal way to make sure that the changes you make will last forever and not simply be a passing phase. Whether dietary restrictions or simply the lack of information has been keeping you from your goals, together we can help you achieve the results you have been dreaming of…. and still find a way to eat cake…

Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist- “I don’t know when it started or why, but my knees and back started hurting over the past few years and I just live with it.” This is just one common example I hear from people who feel there is no solution to their pain except to simply live with it. Many times these aches and pains can come from muscular imbalances that we can resolve through training and help get you back to living a more pain free lifestyle. Whether from injury or just daily fatigue, lets try and find a way to alleviate some of your pain and reinforce your body with proper training catered to your needs.
